Each year I coach two students in preparation for their acceptance speeches as participants in the FWA high school and college mentoring programs. Here are videos of their presentations.
2013
“Diane, I want to thank you so so much for everything you’ve done in the past month. I have to admit that I was a bit scared to meet you and to delve into this but I’m so glad that I did. I feel like I’ve grown so much and my self esteem has really risen. This speech is what I would do if I ‘wasn’t afraid’ and I sincerely appreciate all the advice you gave me today and at our previous sessions about walking the line between leadership and aggressiveness for women.
